Oh my goodness can you imagine the hours you could spend here, just reading and browsing..
I think there should be an extremely comfortable lounge some where just across from this to use as needed!

This is quite possibly the most beautiful library I've ever seen! I love the gilt details. It almost looks like a Swedish/Gustavian design/colour palette. I shall have to look up the book Ann suggested to find out where it comes from.
I love your images, and your blog. I particularly love the gray tones with dark green; so dignified and sophisticated.
